Our sponsorship has grown over the years. We have contacted our local corporations who have generously supported us with monetary donations, supplies and mentors. With this support we have been able to expand our operations and allow our team to become an intricate part of the build process.

We are able to build most of our robot in house, with the exception of welding that has to be taken to the Yale Machine Shop.

Our sponsors today include

Yale University one of our two founding sponsors, has generously supported the Robosquad since it inception. They have provided us with money, mentors and materials.

United Illuminating is our second founding sponsor. UI engineers John Buffa and Jim Crowe donated their time and expertise to start the Robosquad in 2000. Over time United Illuminiating has continued to support the team.
Greater New Haven Community Foundation graciously provided the Robosquad with a grant that has helped the team grow. The teams's success over the past few years is due in part to that grant.
Pfizer, with its research facility almost directly across from Hill Regional Career High School, sponsored the Robosquad in its early years and renewed its commitment last year.
Starbucks came on board as one of the Robosquad's local corporate sponsors in 2008, providing the team with refreshments during build season.
Walmart became a Robosquad sponsor in 2007, giving the team both an outright grant and a matching grant.
Branford Hobbies, a local business, has provided the team with materials over the past four years, often at a moments notice.
